Main Lodge: Overlooking the 12-acre lake, sits the 6,531± sq. ft. main lodge, which includes 6 bedrooms and 5.5 baths. Caretaker’s House (5130 Russell Road): This 2,880± sq. ft., two story, single-family caretaker’s residence is located half a mile up the main drive from the entrance. It is four bedrooms and two baths. The house was originally built in 1967 and has had periodic renovations. The home is very charming and boasts a perfectly manicured yard. The exterior construction reflects poured concrete footings with brick veneer and wood siding exterior walls. There are decks extending from the rear, the side, and the front of the house. On the main level, there is a living room, den/eating area, kitchen, two bedrooms, and one bath. The bottom floor contains two bedrooms, one bath, a laundry room, and a one-car garage, and can be accessed via stairs inside or a rear ground level entrance.
Rental House (5260 Russell Road): This 1,064± sq. ft. one story rustic frame residence can be found at the southern terminus of Russell Road. The house was constructed in 1928 with periodic maintenance completed since then. The exterior construction reflects concrete block foundation walls, wood structural framing and exterior siding. The house has two porches, a covered wood porch extending from the front of the house and a covered screened wood deck extending from the back. Inside the home, there is a large open room, living room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms and one full bath. A 1,054± sq. ft. frame storage building is located to the rear of this residence.
Log Cabin: Below the main lodge and at the head of the lake is a charming and rustic 514± sq. ft. reconstructed log cabin. Inside is a combination kitchen/living room with a bedroom upstairs. A rustic stove and fireplace are on the main floor as well. This little cabin is perfect for those kids yearning for the freedom to “spend a night on their own.” Truthfully, the adults will also wish for a reason to “camp” here and to reflect on the days of simplicity.
Other Facilities: The property also includes a mobile home for an employee, a 22’ x 77’ barn, a 24’ x 60’ barn with loft, a 16’ x 52’ implement shed, and some other miscellaneous agricultural type sheds and barns.
