LaFayette, GA
Known as the “Queen City of the Highlands,” LaFayette sits in the scenic northwest corner of Georgia, where rolling farmland meets the foothills of the Appalachians. Locale
One of the property’s best features is the surrounding area and the outdoor recreation it offers to an active family. A few noteworthy venues nearby include:
McLemore Club: Internationally recognized golf course architects, Rees Jones and Bill Bergin, redesigned the first private 18-hole course at McLemore, making it an acclaimed golf course with grand mountain views “above the clouds”. They followed that with a recently completed second 18-hole course, The Keep – a strategic golf course featuring large greens, wide fairways, and dramatic inland views. The high-end hotel named Cloudland, a Curio by Hilton, was recently completed and offers 245-rooms, a 20,000 sq ft conference center, and a world-class spa and fitness center. This club is only 20 minutes from CloudTree.
Crockford Pigeon Mountain WMA: Just a few minutes from the property, this 20,000-acre state-owned land offers convenient access to lots of outdoor recreation. Miles of trails offer endless opportunities to horseback ride, mountain biking, and hiking. Pigeon Mountain has many limestone formations, which have become a destination among elite rock climbers, and the Pocket at Pigeon Mountain is among the finest areas for wildflowers in Georgia.
Cloudland Canyon State Park: Located on the western edge of Lookout Mountain, this is one of the most scenic parks in the state of Georgia, offering rugged geology and beautiful vistas. The park straddles a deep gorge cut into the mountain by Sitton’s Gulch Creek, and elevation differs from 800 to 1,980 feet. A day spent hiking, picnicking, and sightseeing makes for a wonderful time. CloudTree is only 20 minutes from this 3,500-acre state park.

Broker’s Comment
“It’s rare to find a property that combines this level of setting, infrastructure, and versatility. Whether continued as a vineyard, promoted as an event venue, reimagined as a private retreat, or something entirely new, the possibilities here are as expansive as the views. It’s an entertainer’s dream!”
