Old Horne Farm offers a wide variety of recreational opportunities for all types of outdoorsmen whether those interests be centered around hiking, gardening, farming, equine, hunting, boating or beyond.
With a horse barn, paddocks, and lots of open land to expand on, the farm is very well suited for equestrian interests. The sheer size of the farm allows for long horseback rides and there are some riding trails in place with lots of opportunity to expand upon them. One of the existing trails leads to a gorgeous overlook of Carter’s Lake.
Old Horne has lots of wildlife and there are strong populations of whitetail deer and eastern turkeys for those that enjoy hunting. The 100± acres of open land offers lots of opportunity to tailor other hunting interests whether that be the planting of a dove field or the creation of a release quail program.
